E&L offer a multi-bird or multi-pet discount, so if you’re insuring more than one bird or pet you will be eligible for a discount when you take out more than one pet insurance policy with them. This is a discount of 10% per subsequent policy and up to a maximum of 20%.

   The excess (the first part of the claim you pay yourself) is £35 for vet fees, £75 for death claims and £150 for public liability.

2. What is the limit on the amount of time I must claim within?

   Your claim form should be returned to E&L at most within 90 days of the claim arising.

3. What does equipment cover mean?

   Cover is provided for cages or aviery equipment which are damaged or destroyed as a result of small perils such as lightening, falling trees, fire, explosions, earthquakes, storms or floods.
