What to Look for in a Policy

Choosing pet insurance for any pet is never easy, but knowing what to look for is half the battle. The following is a guide for the various features which are listed in the comparison table.

  • Veterinary Fees – The most important bit, covers the cost of veterinary bills
  • Advertising & Reward – If your bunny goes missing, this will cover the advertising & reward costs
  • Emergency Boarding – Should you suddenly need to go to hospital, this ensures your bunny is put up in bunny-friendly accommodation.
  • Complimentary Treatment – Unique to Petplan, this provides coverage for treatments such as acupuncture and homoeopathy.
  • Max Age – The maximum age the insurer will cover your pet until
  • Online Discount – Discounts available when purchased online
